2010 How crazy is that!!Life flys by right in front of your eyes!! For New Years this year we went up to Salt Lake and spent the night with our friends Brandon and Sarah! We had a lot of fun playing pool, playing the WII and just hanging out! We stayed up really late and the girls thought that was pretty cool. We lit fireworks and midnight and blew some horns!(it was FREEZING) Ringing in the new year with friends you cant beat that! Happy New Year from the Chestnut Family!!

We had a lot of fun on christmas this year! The girls are really getting fun and their excited makes it all worth it! Makayla got a guitar that she wanted really badly she wants to be Hannah Montana. Madison really wanted an orange sparkly bike but Santa tried really hard to get it for it but just had no luck but she loves the bike she got. Kenedee wanted the Handy Mandy tool bench more than anything and she got it! She thinks it is the coolest thing ever! And Kaitlynn wanted twin babies dolls and she got those. They had a lot of fun and loved everything they got!

For Christmas eve we got to go see our favorite Santa ever. "Papa Santa" is what the girls like to call him and he is great. We love going to see him! After we went and saw Papa Santa we went over to Melisa's house and had some dinner and played Mexican Train, one of Grandma Farnworths favorite games. We had a lot of fun and we also opend our christmas eve pj's. The girls were completley out of control and were so excited. They just kept asking is it time to go to bed yet!!! Oh the things Santa can make kids do!

I love the Twilight Saga! This movie was awesome!! So goooooood! I do love the movies but I really love going out with just the girls and having a ton a fun. We had so much fun, we went to Texas Roadhouse and then to the Gateway for the 12:35 AM showing of New Moon. I love my friends they are the best! My nefew Colby had a Snake birthday party. It was pretty fun the girls like the snakes more than I thought they would. Madison surprised me the most, she loved them and she is such a girly girl. Malayla would not even hold them. It was a lot of slithering fun!

We had a lot of fun for Halloween this year. The girls loved carving pumpkins Kaitlynn didn't like cleaning them out but she still liked watching. Makayla was a devil, Madison was a bat, Kenedee was Supergirl and Kaitlynn was a witch. We went to the ward Halloween party and went trick or treating with my nieces and nephews. We love Halloween!

Kenedee is now in kindergarten. It is crazy only Kaitlynn is home now and she does not like it at all. I thought I would cry when Kenedee started school but Kaitlynn bawled. She waits and looks out the window waiting for her sisters to come home. Kenedee loves kindergaten, she loves going and learning. They grow up to fast!

Girls Camp

We had a lot of fun at Girls camp this year. I took my niece Jordan and cousin Cassie with me since they missed theirs while we were in New York. The them this year was Dr Scuess. It was a little chilly up there and it rained a lot but there is nothing like girls camp. I love it and hope the girls loved it just has much as me. The spirit up their is so strong, and we are so lucky to have a place like Camp Shalom to be able to go too.

Farnworth/Newell Reunion 2009

The Farnworth and Newell Family reunion were a lot of fun. They both were up at East Canyon. We played horse shoes, family fued, had a watermelon eating contest, made crafts, played water kickball, and had a auction. I love being able to spent time with family you dont get to see very often. Casey and Grandpa took first place in the horseshoe contest Casey was so proud.

Makayla was baptised on August 1 by my grandpa. It was such a special day. She was so excited and has been talking about getting baptised for months. We are so pround of her. Well being the first child in our family to get baptised I totally forgot that she would need new underwear and a comb and a towel after she was baptised so luckly my niece had a comb and some biker shorts and we used a baby blamket to wipe her off. We will not forget her day. After her baptism we had a luncheon at our home. It was a great day!

Makayla's Birthday was the day after I got home from New York so it was a little crazy. She had a sleep over party with a couple of her friends and then also had a family party a few days later. Well it has been a while since I posted so I will be posting a lot of things today. First New York. My mom, grandma, sisters, niece, cousin, and uncle all went to New Yourk in July for 8 days for my niece Jordan dance competion it was a lot of fun. I dont have to many pictures but here are a few. We went and saw Phantom, and went sight seeing and did lots of shopping. We also watched a lot of dancing and Jordan did so good we are so proud of her!

My baby is three and I can not believe it. She is growing up way to fast. And she is such a ham. You can not help but love her. A stranger walking down the road would love her. She told me she wants braces because her older cousin has them and they are cool. If I pick out a shirt she does not like she will not wear it, she already wants a cell phone,and to wear make up. Casey got a job today and I am so greatful! He will now be communting to Salt Lake everyday but we are ok with that. He is going to to be a mechanic for the press machines that ironically are now printing the Daily Herald. Thank you everyone for your prayers and comments. I hope now it will not be to long before my brother in law and uncle can find a job too. Thanks again!

Being Tested!!!

So my husband was laid off from his job this weekend. He has worked for the Daily Herald for almost 9 years and it came as such a shock. They closed the whole plant down and now will be printing the paper from Salt Lake. They laid off 52 employees. Including my uncle and brother in law.

It is very scary thing to know that you may loose or have to give up everything you have worked so hard for. And with the way the world is right now it is very hard to find a job. I worry about my children and for our family. I know that if I have faith that everything will be ok and things will work out for the best.

It is so hard to remember that everything happens for a reason and that you are never given more than you can handle. Please keep us in your prayers that Casey will be able to find a job quickly and that we will make it through this trial in our life.

I know Heavenly Father loves us and will be there for us.

I have had to change diapers for the last 8 years at times it was 3 children at a time. And now the time has come for a life free of diapers! Thats right Kaitlynn is now a big girl and wears big girl panties!! This is a great day at the chestnut home! She was so easy she just decided that it was her time . She is the youngest of my girls to get potty trained only by about 3 months but the youngest and the smallest. Its is very cute how she has to get up on the toliet! Way to go Kaitlynn we love you!!!

This year Christmas was a lot of fun. I love to see the girls faces when they see what Santa has brought them. There is nothing like the spirt of a child on Christmas day. I will always cherish those moments because they will be gone before I know it. I love my girls very much and I wish that I could keep them little and stay with Casey and I forever(most of the time). Christmas is one of those days where I wish I had 12 kids to watch. We opened gifts, made breakfast, hung out with family and went and saw Bedtime Stories. It was a great day! Casey even got a surprise of his own. And he did some great things for me. He gave me the coolest snowglobe ever and I was totally shocked.( I collect snowglobes for those of you that dont know) We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and enjoyed it has much as we did! We love you all!

Every other year we celebrate Thanksgiving with my whole extended family. This year was that year and there was about 100 of us. It was really good to see all my family. We also do a white elephant exchange for a game. Well it can get pretty nasty, but its all fun! The girls love this half of them picked their own gifts and the other half got different things. After a little bit of trading they each got what they wanted! I love Thanksgiving and just spending time with my family.

So last night me and a bunch of friends went to the twilight premiere! I personally loved the movie! It was right along with the book. It was not as good as the book just because it could not be as descriptive as the book but I think it was really good. The actors were really great in it to and Edward got a lot hotter as the movie went on! I am excited to see the movie again! It was a lot of fun to go out with all the girls and have a girls night out. We went to dinner and the movie and it was a blast!!

My little Kenedee started preschool on October 29th. She was so nervous at first but she has really grown to love it. She looks forward to going to school everyday and when she doesn't get to she gets really upset. Kaitlynn hates that she has school because she is home with just dad for 3 hours.

When we were finished and she was uploading them to her computer, her computer hard drive crashed and she lost half of the pictures which totally stinks! Well Casey and I celebrated our 8 year Wedding Anniversary on September 30th. Time really does fly by. It has not always been easy but it has defiantly been worth it. Casey is a great husband and father. I love him so much and I am so great full to have him. I am so lucky to have been blessed with our girls and our life together. I am looking forward to the many years to come! We spent time together this week on the deer hunt fun right. Well that is almost what we do every year. I really do enjoy it because we leave the girls at home and we get to just be together which does not happen very often with everything we have going in our lives. The girls had a lot of fun and Knotts berry farm. Knotts Berry Farm was our last visit in California so by then I think they were about done with amusement parks, but not Makayla she could have stayed there forever. Last weekend we went up to East canyon for a little relaxation. Well if you call 18 kids relaxation then that what it was. We had a lot of fum spending time as a family and the kids love it when all their cousins are around. We went swimming, played tennis, played cards, watch movies, went golfing, and had a bithday party for Chase, Stoney , and Gunner. I am so greatful to have family so close and to be able to spent time with eveyone. I feel very blessed.

Over the Week of the 4th, we went to Arizonia for the Donaldson Family Reunion. It was a lot of fun. They way down there not so much. Everyone was throwing up and let me tell you a 10 hour drive with throwing up in cups was not the greatest but we survived. It was great to be able to spend time with my dad and the girls really loved seeing him. We went fishing rode bikes and just hung out as a family. Coloring Easter Eggs what a joyous occasion, we had not colored easter eggs before Kaitlynn's birthday party so we had to color them after which it was about 10pm when we started, so Im getting the egg coloring stuff ready and I did it wrong so the colors would not work, so I had to run to my moms and get another coloring kit. So we ended up only doing about 12 egss because we last 6 in the process. We love to color eggs!

So our lab Roxie had puppies 5 days ago and they are so cute! She had 7, 4 girls and 3 boys. They are pure breed lab puppies. Makayla would like to keep all of them, could you even imagine having 9 dogs running around! So if you know any one who would like to buy a puppy let me know. We are selling the girls for 250 and the boys for 200! Here are a few pictures! They should be ready around the 28th of April!

NEW YORK WAS A BLAST!! I LOVES EVERYTHING ABOUT IT! IT WAS SO AMAZING I CAN NOT BELIEVE HOW DIFFERENT A PLACE CAN BE. I CAN NOT EVEN PICK ONE THING THAT WAS MY FAVORITE BECAUSE I LOVED EVERYTHING. I LOVED YANKEE STADIUM AND THAT WAS PRETTY SPECIAL SINCE THEY WILL TEARING IT DOWN THIS YEAR. WE HAD SO MUCH FUN AND I AM SO GLAD THAT I GOT TO SPEND IT WITH MANDI, SARAH, JESSI, AND MELISA! YOU HAVE TO GO THERE BECAUSE I WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO DESCRIBE IT THEY WAY I WANT TOO. GROUND ZERO WAS A VERY SPECIAL PLACE BUT IT WAS SUCH A SAD PLACE THERE WAS DIFFENTLY TEARS SHED. Well today was an interesting day! It started out as your typical Sunday we slept late, watched a little t.v, did some laundry, and ya Madison got stiches in her head ( 5 stiches)! What a great birthday gift for her! Well Madison and Makayla ran into each other at full speed and I guess Makayla has a pretty hard head! I walked over to them to make sure they were ok and Madison lifts her head up and there is blood EVERYWHERE, in her eyes, her mouth, it was pretty bad, but believe it or not she didn't get it on her new shirt AMAZING! She was very brave at the doctor, and Makayla felt so bad that she had hurt her that bad but it was an accident. Here are a few pictures!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MADISON!!!!!

Today was Madisons birthday and we had a lot of fun! Madison got to open her presents from us in the morning and she got clothes and some shoes. She actually asked for theses and was very excited when she got them. She's 5 going on 16! Then later that afternnon we had a birthday party at classic skating. It was so much fun and she got a ton of cool stuff! Some of her favorites were her MP3 player and I-Dog, and she loves all the makeup and High School Musical stuff she got. She made out really good. I can not believe she is five! They are growing up way to fast!

When we gave Kaitlynn her first present she sat on it, it was sooo cute!

Merry Christmas!!!! Boy did we get a lot have toys for christmas this year! Santa must have thought we were really good this year what was he thinking! The girls were very spoiled this year but it was so much fun to watch them open their gifts. Kaitlynn was so fun! I didnt think that she would really understand what was going on but she was just as excited as the others! She really loved her giant Teddy Bear that Santa brought her! Makayla got some video games, and polly pocket stuff, Hannah Montana cd and they all got scooters. Madison loves her makeup she got and her High school musical cd. Kenedee loves her baby alive and we just love having to change another diaper in the house. All and all we had a great christmas!

Santa decided to pay us a visit a little early this year. On christmas eve Santa dropped by to give us a present. He gave us new pjs to wear for the night. We were so excited well almost all of us Kaitlynn was a little scared. We had so much fun spending some time with Santa! Alot of our cousins came over and saw Santa too. It was a great Christmas eve!

Ok so my kids are so excited for christmas that can not hardly stand it. Everyday for the last month is been mom is 12 mom its 19 mom its 24! They can not sleep thats all they can talk about, I dont know where they get it from! Well this mornng Makayla wakes up at the butt crack of dawn screaming its 24 its 24 Santa is coming tonight. Of course she woke up all the other kids. So this is a picture of the kids so excited but tired they can not wait till Santa comes!

Yesterday was Madisons school program and today was Makaylas! Makayla actually sang. She did a really good job and it looks like she is coming out of her shell! Its kinda of hard to find her in the pictures but she is on the second row and on the right side (as if your looking at the picture) and she is wearing a different color of santa hat then the other kids. Its more of a marron color.

Cassie, Jordan, Madison, Kenedee, and Kaitlynn went with me and they wanted thier picture taken too so theres a picture of them!

Madison had her first school program today! She was a little brat and would not sing any of the songs, which I dont understand because she loves to sing! She did know her speaking parts so that was good! She was still the cutest kid there!!

I decided to start a blog so everyone could see what is up with the chestnut family! I really enjoy reading all of your blogs so what the heck! To get everyone caught up Casey and I have been married for 7 1/2 years now and we are doing great. We have 4 girls!( boy do we have our hand full) Makayla is 6 1/2 and in the first grade. She really enjoys it and is doing very well. Madison is 4 will be 5 on the second of February. Madison started preschool and loves it. She hates that she does not get to go everyday. Kenedee is 3 and is an amazing child. She has a wonderful personality and brings a lot of laughter to our home. Kaitlynn is 1 1/2 and is doing very well. She is not real big which is strange for a chestnut baby but we love her a lot . We recently added a new member to our family Addison our 3 month old cocker spaniel. The girls love her especially Kaitlynn. Casey is still working at the Daily Herald making sure the news gets out. And as for me yes I am still at Albertsons and probably will be there for a long while. I also have picked up a second job at the Crest gas station by my house and really love it there. I love all the people I work they are all so awesome. The reason I got a second job is because we are planning on tearing down our house in the next two years to build a new one. We can not wait and hope that it will happen very soon! Well that's all for now and I will post some pictures soon!
